Protocol Education is recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Assistant to join the Inclusion Hub of a welcoming mainstream primary school in Chelmsford.

This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils with additional needs, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them successfully access learning and transition into the mainstream classroom environment.

About the Role:

You will work closely with pupils requiring additional support, delivering tailored interventions and providing guidance throughout their school day. The Inclusion Hub offers a nurturing space where children can develop confidence, social skills, and emotional regulation before transitioning into the wider school setting.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience supporting children with ASD
• Be patient, caring, and resilient
• Have a strong understanding of inclusion and additional learning needs
• Be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of individual pupils
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and familiesHave experience working within a school or SEN setting (preferred)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
