Are you a qualified teacher with experience or an interest in Special Educational Needs? Aspire People are looking for passionate and adaptable SEN Supply Teachers to work across specialist and mainstream education settings, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties.
Whether you're looking for the flexibility of day-to-day supply, a longer-term placement or your next permanent opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:- Delivering engaging lessons to pupils with a range of additional needs
- Teaching small classes, groups and individual pupils
- Adapting lessons and resources to meet individual learning needs
- Following existing lesson plans for day-to-day cover
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
- Working alongside Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and other professionals
- Creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
Opportunities can include Primary curriculum teaching, PPA cover and creative subjects such as Art, Music, Drama and Food Technology, depending on your experience and the individual setting.
What we're looking for:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Primary, Secondary or SEN teaching experience
- SEN/Autism experience is highly desirable
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A patient, adaptable and positive approach
- Confidence working with pupils with a range of learning and communication needs
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Competitive daily rates of £173 - £239, dependent on experience and assignment
