Key Roles & Responsibilities

Design and deliver tailored primary learning programs for pupils with diverse learning and sensory needs.

Collaborate with the SENDCo and multidisciplinary teams to fulfill EHCP outcomes effectively.

Guide, deploy, and mentor classroom support staff to ensure safe, inclusive learning environments.

Use positive behaviour management and low-arousal strategies to maintain an encouraging workspace.

Build strong, trusted connections with parents and carers through regular feedback and progress reviews.
Requirements for the Role

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK recognised teaching qualification with SEN focus.

Proven track record teaching primary pupils with complex educational or behavioural needs.

Excellent knowledge of adaptive teaching strategies, EHCP tracking, and safeguarding standards.

A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to process one).

Strong collaborative, organisational, and communication abilities.
