Class Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Partner to join the Interventions Team at this School in Stevenage.

Immediate start available.

The Role

• Position: Learning Partner
• Location: Stevenage
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Contract: Full time, term time only
• Start: ASAP

As a Learning Partner, you will work as part of the school's Interventions Team, providing flexible and responsive support to learners throughout the school day.

• Supporting the school's on-call provision
• Providing one-to-one and/or small-group support to learners during lessons
• Assisting learners with their personal care needs
• Working closely with other members of staff to ensure learners receive appropriate and consistent support
• Helping to create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment
• Building positive relationships with learners and encouraging their engagement and development

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• Dedicated, enthusiastic and nurturing
• Patient and understanding when supporting learners with a range of needs
• Confident working both independently and as part of a wider team
• Adaptable and able to respond positively to different situations throughout the school day
• Experienced in supporting children or young people, ideally within an education or SEN setting
• Committed to helping every learner reach their potential
• Comfortable supporting personal care needs where required

Previous experience working within a specialist education, SEN or intervention setting would be advantageous, although we would also welcome applications from candidates with relevant transferable experience.
