North West/ temporary / £95 - 120 per day

This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone confident in maths and passionate about supporting young people with additional needs.

The Role

• Monday & Friday: Delivering maths lessons to students, following a broad and engaging curriculum
• Tuesday-Thursday: Providing Learning Support Assistant (LSA) cover across the school
• Supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom to promote progress, engagement, and positive behaviour
• Working closely with teaching staff and the wider support team to meet individual pupil needs

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience teaching or supporting maths up to Key Stage 4 (desirable)
• Confidence delivering engaging and accessible maths lessons
• A good understanding of how to manage challenging behaviour positively and effectively
• Experience working with pupils with SEMH, ASC, and ADHD (desirable)
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
