If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.As an SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and the school's SEN team to provide tailored support for pupils with a variety of additional needs, helping them to build confidence, develop independence, and reach their full potential.Your Responsibilities:Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups throughout the school day.Adapt learning activities to suit individual needs and learning styles.Promote positive behaviour and encourage emotional wellbeing.Help pupils develop communication, social, and life skills.Assist teachers with classroom activities and differentiated learning.Work alongside SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals to ensure pupils receive the highest level of support.About You:Hold a minimum 2:2 undergraduate degree, ideally in Psychology or a related discipline.Have previous experience working with children or young people through schools, tutoring, care, coaching, youth work, or voluntary roles.Feel confident supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs, including:Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needsSpeech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)Sensory processing needs and associated behavioursAre compassionate, resilient, and able to remain calm in challenging situations.Possess strong communication and teamwork skills.Can commit to working full-time, Monday to Friday.What Aspire People Offer:Competitive daily rate of £100 - £105.A rewarding full-time role starting in September.The opportunity to gain specialist SEN experience within a supportive primary school.Ongoing guidance from a dedicated Aspire People consultant.Access to professional development and SEN-focused training.Excellent preparation for careers in Educational Psychology, Teaching, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, or Child Mental Health.If you're passionate about supporting children with additional needs and want to build a rewarding career in education, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today through Aspire People and begin your journey making a lasting difference in the lives of young learners.Aspire People is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
