Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Secondary School (Permanent)

Reed Education are supporting a reputable secondary school in Wellingborough who are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join them on a permanent basis. An earlier start date may be available for the right candidate.

The Role

As a HLTA, you will:

• Support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Deliver pre-planned lessons when required
• Lead targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions
• Support teachers in raising attainment and improving pupil engagement
• Contribute to the wider school environment and pastoral support

Requirements

Experience is essential for this role. The school is specifically looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience working within a secondary school setting
• A minimum Level 3 qualification (HLTA status desirable but not essential)
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A proactive, positive and professional approach
