Semi-Skilled Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Semi-Skilled Vehicle Technician, based in Bishop's Stortford. This is an exceptional Semi-Skilled Vehicle Technician opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to join a prestigious workshop specialising in luxury and high-performance vehicles. Our client seeks a proactive individual with a passion for quality service and a keen eye for detail.

• Competitive salary between £30,000 and £50,000 per annum, with a joining bonus and performance-related bonuses
• Monday to Friday working hours, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, with weekends off

Duties of a Semi-Skilled Vehicle Technician:

• Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical faults across a range of luxury and sports vehicle brands, including Volkswagen, Audi, Lamborghini, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, Bentley, and Volvo
• Performing work to manufacturer standards with efficiency and accuracy
• Completing job cards, health checks, and accurate documentation
• Working collaboratively with workshop colleagues to ensure operational effectiveness
• Maintaining health and safety standards, workshop cleanliness, and organisation
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest vehicle technology advancements and repair techniques

Requirements of a Semi-Skilled Vehicle Technician:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a franchise or high-end workshop
• Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills
• Knowledge of modern vehicle systems, including electric and hybrid vehicles
• Full UK driving licence
• Proactive attitude with a team-focused approach and excellent communication skills
