Accounts Semi-Senior£30,000 - £32,000 Hybrid Working Full Study Support Available
Your new companyA well-established and growing accountancy practice is looking to appoint an Accounts Semi-Senior to join its collaborative team. Your new roleAs an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will work closely with managers and senior team members, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax returns and VAT returns
  • Producing management accounts and financial statements
  • Supporting audit assignments and undertaking audit fieldwork where required
  • Preparing personal and corporation tax computations
  • Liaising directly with clients and responding to day-to-day queries
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues

What you'll need to succeed

  • Part-qualified AAT, ACA or ACCA, or actively studying towards a professional qualification
  • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach
