SEMH Tutors Needed

Stourbridge & Surrounding Areas £25-£28 per hour Flexible Hours Term Time Only

Are you passionate about helping young people who may have struggled to engage with mainstream education?

Do you have experience supporting pupils with SEMH, challenging behaviour, anxiety, low confidence or barriers to learning?

Integra Education is recruiting dedicated SEMH Tutors to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to pupils across Stourbridge and the surrounding areas.

You'll provide a calm, supportive and structured learning environment, helping pupils rebuild confidence, develop positive relationships with education and make meaningful academic and personal progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition.
• Adapt your approach to meet each pupil's individual learning and SEMH needs.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with young people.
• Create a calm, structured and supportive learning environment.
• Support pupils to develop confidence, resilience and positive attitudes towards education.
• Re engage learners who may have previously struggled within mainstream settings.
• Plan and adapt sessions to maximise engagement and progress.
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback where required.

We're Looking For Tutors Who:

• Have experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs.
• Have previous experience in teaching, tutoring, youth work, pastoral support or a similar role.
• Are patient, empathetic and able to build strong professional relationships.
• Can adapt their communication and teaching style to individual learners.
• Have strong subject knowledge in at least one core academic subject.
• Have a good understanding of the UK education system.
• Are aged 18 or over and available during term time from September.
• Hold a degree qualification or equivalent.
