Salary: £25,185-£26,402 FTE (Actual salary approximately £22,121, based on Grade 4, Point 9)
Start Date: ASAP or September 2026
Contract: Full Time Permanent

The Role
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs.
- Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage confidence and engagement.
- Support students both in the classroom and during other school activities.
- Help implement behaviour support strategies and individual learning plans.
- Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to promote positive outcomes for every pupil.
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
- A calm, patient and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs.
- The ability to remain positive and adaptable in a rewarding school environment.
- Full-time, stable employment within a supportive school community.
- Salary of £25,185-£26,402 FTE, with an actual salary of approximately £22,121 (Grade 4, Point 9 example).
