As a Team

We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Lead Business Architect to join our growing Security and Digital Identity Practice.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and driving the business and technology architecture for enterprise and customer identity and access management (IAM/CIAM) transformations. You will work across clients, industry verticals, and technology ecosystems to develop strategic IAM roadmaps that align business priorities, regulatory requirements, and user experience goals.

You will also play a key role in leading RFPs, solution design, and proposal responses, ensuring that Accenture's IAM offerings are competitive, scalable, and value-driven. This is both a strategic and hands on leadership position, requiring a blend of business acumen, architectural expertise, and consultative leadership.

Strategic Leadership & Business Architecture
  • Develop and implement IAM and CIAM strategies that align with clients' digital transformation, compliance, and customer experience goals.
  • Define target operating models, capability frameworks, and governance structures for enterprise and customer identity domains.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable IAM blueprints and technology roadmaps.
  • Advise senior business and technology leaders on identity maturity, risk management, and investment prioritization.
  • Drive alignment between business strategy, architecture design, and technology execution.
RFPs, Solutioning & Proposal Leadership
  • Lead and support RFPs, bids, and client proposals, developing end to end IAM solution architectures and responses.
  • Define technical and business solution components, delivery approaches, and pricing models for proposals.
  • Collaborate with sales, offering, and delivery teams to shape winning solution narratives and competitive responses.
  • Participate in client orals, demos, and executive presentations to position Accenture as a trusted IAM advisor.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable solution assets, frameworks, and accelerators to support future pursuits.
Consulting & Delivery Excellence
  • Lead IAM, PAM and CIAM strategy engagements, from discovery and assessment through roadmap and implementation.
  • Provide architectural oversight and quality assurance throughout project delivery.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure delivered solutions meet business, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Promote best practices and reusable components across IAM programs.
  • Mentor and upskill junior consultants and architects within the practice.
Partner & Ecosystem Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with leading IAM technology providers (e.g., Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint, CyberArk).
  • Co create go to market propositions and joint solutions with alliance partners.
  • Leverage partner technologies to strengthen Accenture's IAM service offerings.
  • Stay abreast of emerging IAM trends, standards (OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, FIDO2), and regulatory requirements (GDPR, PSD2, NIS2).
Financial & Operational Leadership
  • Support business growth through pipeline development, proposal leadership, and client relationship management.
  • Contribute to P&L performance, including forecasting, budgeting, and profitability management.
  • Optimize delivery resources and drive innovation within the IAM capability area.
  • Track performance metrics and provide leadership insights to senior management.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of professional experience in Identity and Access Management, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, or digital transformation.
  • Proven experience leading solution design and RFP responses for large scale IAM or CIAM programs.
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts including authentication, authorization, federation, identity lifecycle, privileged access, and customer identity management.
  • Hands on familiarity with key IAM technologies such as Okta, Ping, ForgeRock, Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint, and CyberArk.
  • Demonstrated ability to align business goals with IAM architecture and implementation strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills at executive level.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, or SABSA.
  • Experience managing or supporting consulting P&L, business development, or go to market activities.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and cloud identity (Azure, AWS, GCP).
