As a Security Specialist at Cadent, you will play a key role in safeguarding our people, assets and operations. This is a strategic and operational role where your expertise in physical, personnel and protective security will help shape a secure and resilient organisation.

You will lead on the delivery of security programmes across the business, support high-profile infrastructure projects, and act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and external partners. You will also represent Cadent in national security forums and contribute to shaping UK security policy.

This is a hybrid role with flexibility, offering the opportunity to work across multiple functions and collaborate with government departments, law enforcement, and industry peers.

This is a high-impact role that combines leadership, influence and technical expertise in a nationally significant organisation.

• Strategic Influence- Shape and deliver security programmes that protect Cadent's people and assets.
• Cross-Sector Collaboration- Build trusted relationships with government, police, and industry partners.
• Operational Delivery- Support major infrastructure projects and lead on security initiatives across the business.
• Thought Leadership- Represent Cadent in national forums and contribute to UK counter-terrorism and crime prevention strategies.
• Professional Growth- Develop your expertise and support the development of others in a forward-thinking security team.

You are a security professional with a strong background in protective security, stakeholder engagement and risk management.

• Qualifications & Experience- Membership of a recognised security institution (or willingness to work towards), with a proven track record in security leadership.
• Security Knowledge- Expertise in physical, personnel and protective security, including design, implementation and compliance.
• Communication Skills- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Analytical Thinking- Ability to assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and produce clear, actionable reports.
• Professional Integrity- High level of discretion and commitment to national security standards and vetting requirements.
