Pinnacle Group is looking for an Experienced Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our properties and sites and play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe.

Location: Carrington, Manchester M31. Own transport is essential as there is no public transport to the site.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor premises and conduct regular foot patrols.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies and incidents, mitigating risks.
• Meet and greet visitors, staff and contractors and manage the gatehouse environment.
• Conduct routine mobile patrols of assigned premises and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity.
• Liaise with local authorities, including police, emergency healthcare services and fire services.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and log all security-related activities.
• Test alarms and read various meters.
• Operate telephone switchboard and use client software in the control room.

Qualifications and requirements

• Valid SIA badge.
• SG or DS licence.
• Access to own transport and a UK Manual Driver's Licence (required to drive company vehicles).
• Strong, clear communicator, with ability to use Radio Control and understand the Phonetic Alphabet.
• Full 5 year UK checkable work history.

Working conditions

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off - 2 days & 2 nights, 6am 6pm and 6pm 6am, rolling rota.

Hours per week: 42. 12 hour shifts.

Shift allowance: £217 per month. Overtime available at 1.5 rate.
