Security Detection Engineer - contract role

A Security Detection Engineer with strong KQL (Kusto Query Language) experience.

You must have:

• ability to write/develop detection logic, build rules, and work with security policies
• a working knowledge of Windows, macOS or Linux operating systems
• an understanding of modern attacker TTPs
• experience developing and maintaining basic automation scripts (eg, Bash, Python, Batch, PowerShell etc.)

You will be:

• leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the cyber security detection capability
• required to understand the changing threat landscape, see opportunities for improvement in existing detections, establish new detections, and ensure appropriate detection coverage for the organisations
• working closely with multiple teams, including security operations, engineering, and risk & compliance, in a fast paced and agile environment.
