# Job Opening: Sector Specialist Tutor - Peterborough Sector Specialist Tutor - Health and Social Care Training • Location: Remote Work with Customer Visits - Peterborough Area• Salary (qualified): £25,000 - £30,000 per year, plus incentive package• Job Type: Permanent Flexible hours Work from home About the Role Are you passionate about raising the standards of care through high-quality training? At Centra Training , we're on a mission to improve access to vocational education, enhancing opportunities for those working in the care sector.We're looking for a Sector Specialist Tutor to deliver vocational qualifications from level 2 - 5 in care organisations. This is a home-based role with flexibility, strong job satisfaction, and willingness to travel within the geographical area linked to your location. What You'll Do Deliver engaging training, supporting learners on their journey. Engage with employers and review progress Build strong, positive relationships with both learners and employers. Manage a caseload of learners and ensure timely completion of qualifications. Keep accurate learner records using our e-portfolio system. Maintain compliance with quality and audit standards. Spot opportunities for new training and business development. Continue developing your own skills and contribute to quality improvements. What We're Looking For Qualifications & Experience GCSEs (A-C) in Maths, English & ICT (or equivalent). TAQA or other Assessing, Teaching Qualifications. Proven background in the care sector, qualified to level 5 or above. Strong tutoring, coaching, or teaching experience (1 year+ preferred). Skills & Competencies Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated, resilient, and able to inspire learners. Committed to quality, integrity, and continuous improvement. Other Requirements Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
