Protocol Education is seeking motivated and reliable Secondary Teaching Assistants to support partner schools across Huddersfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience or for experienced Teaching Assistants seeking flexible and rewarding work within secondary education.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Delivering targeted interventions and booster sessions
• Assisting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required
• Helping maintain positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
• Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
• Encouraging student confidence, independence, and achievement

Requirements

• Experience working with young people in an educational or support setting
• Strong classroom presence and communication skillsAbility to build positive relationships with students and staff
• An adaptable and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
