Salary: £180 - £200 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Newcastle who are looking to appoint a Secondary Teacher with a STEM specialism. The school provides education to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and is committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

The school is looking to take on a Secondary Teacher on a short-term basis from September. The successful Secondary Teacher will have a STEM specialism and will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively and support students across KS3 and KS4.

The successful Secondary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply) • A specialism within a STEM subject • Experience teaching students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 • Excellent classroom management • Strong communication and organisational skills • An adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
