£25-£30 per hour Monday-Friday School Hours Part Time

Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? TP Tutors is looking for a compassionate and dedicated tutor to provide tailored one to one support to secondary aged pupils in the Derby City (DE24) area.

About the Role

You will work with students who require additional educational support, helping them to re engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals. Sessions will be delivered on a one to one basis and tailored to each pupil's individual needs.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering personalised tuition to secondary aged students.
• Supporting pupils with SEN, including those with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs.
• Planning engaging lessons that meet individual learning objectives.
• Monitoring progress and providing session feedback.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, families, and other professionals.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with secondary aged students.
• Previous SEN experience in a teaching, tutoring, support, or care setting.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.
