Secondary Cover Teacher

Reed Education are looking for experienced and enthusiastic, qualified teachers to join our team this academic year .

We work with schools across Sussex and as a result we are looking for candidates to join our team to provide quality cover whether it's day to day or long term.

We welcome ECTs onto our team as well as experienced teachers and we are looking for teachers with a range of subject specialisms, including but not limited to:

• Maths
• English
• Science - all specialism
• Humanities - All specialisms
• PE
• MFL

You will suit this team if you:

• Have qualified teaching status or equivalent
• Have a DBS on the update service or a willingness to gain one
• Have right to work in the UK, unfortunately Reed cannot sponsor to work in the UK
• Be flexible and willing to support in a range of schools and have an open minded approach to the school day
• Have excellent behaviour management skills and be willing to uphold positive behaviour expectation and challenge the negative behaviour in the classroom
• Have excellent experience teaching your subject and also covering generally in classrooms
• Have excellent communication skills and use these to communicate back to class teachers and SLT where necessary
