We are working with a supportive secondary school in Bexley that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year.

The Role

• Teaching History at KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet a range of abilities
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement
• Working collaboratively within a well-established humanities department

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching History in a UK secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Reliable, adaptable and available for a fixed-term commitment
