The local QC department consists of about 70 colleagues who, together with sister departments situated in Denmark and Switzerland, form an important part of our quality organization. With the QC in vivo team of approx. 20 colleagues (scientists, lab technicians and animal technicians), you will operate a BSL3 animal facility under GMP standard and release in vivo tested TBE and Rabies vaccine products. In this function you will report to our Manager QC in vivo. Your responsibilities include: Plan, supervise and execute quality control experiments in vivo (in mice) under GMP for the release of vaccine products in a BSL3 animal facility Work as part of the scientific leads team of QC in vivo and coordinate both scientifically and organizationally within the QC department Maintain GMP quality standard, including qualification and validation of equipment and laboratories, authoring and reviewing GMP documents, and working within the Quality Management System Support in planning and alignment with different stakeholders across departments Support in hosting inspections and audits, and in communicating with animal welfare and GMP authorities About you Post-graduate academic education in veterinary medicine (Dr. med. vet.) or bio/life sciences (PhD/Dr. rer. nat. in relevant field) and preferably 2-3 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry Hands-on experience in coordination, supervision and documentation of in vivo studies in mice/rodents and knowledge of German animal welfare legislation Experience with GMP quality standards, preferably experience with equipment qualification and laboratory/facility coordination Flexible and proactive working style in a dynamic environment, excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines while ensuring the diligence and quality of your work Excellent written and spoken command of English language (German language skills are of advantage) We offer A chance to enhance your skills and gain unique industry experience in the exciting combination of in vivo studies under GMP and biosafety level BSL3 .A chance to work in an international company with unique technology and a dedicated work force.
