Scientific Software Engineer

Neuromatch is seeking a Scientific Software Engineer to support development and integration of open-source tools for computational behavioral analysis and physics-based simulation. This role is part of a multi-year NIH-funded collaboration with Harvard University, the Salk Institute, and the University of Washington focused on realistic neuro-biomechanical simulation.

Work includes integrating Python-based simulation, tracking, and visualization tools (e.g., improving backend - UI integration), resolving GitHub issues, and contributing to open-source scientific software.

6-month initial contract (extension possible)
