Science Technician

Are you an experienced Science Technician looking for your next opportunity in a supportive secondary school? We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming school in South Birmingham for a Science Technician to join their science department from September on a long term basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

• Support the delivery of practical science lessons by preparing equipment and materials.
• Maintain laboratory resources and ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

• Previous experience working as a Science Technician within a UK secondary school.
• Good understanding of laboratory health and safety procedures.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive and reliable approach to supporting both staff and students.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).

• Long term position starting in September.

• Competitive daily rate of £100 £130 per day, depending on experience.
