A vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in West London is looking for a committed Science Technician to join their science department. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates or experienced lab technicians who enjoy supporting science education.

Responsibilities

• Preparing science apparatus, materials, and equipment for lessons.
• Supporting practical experiments in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• Maintaining stock control, ordering resources, and managing the prep room.
• Ensuring the safe storage and disposal of chemicals and equipment.
• Assisting staff and students with practical work and technical queries.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised laboratory environment.

Requirements

• A degree in Science (any discipline) or equivalent experience.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures in laboratories.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and keen to support secondary education.
• Previous school-based experience is advantageous but not essential.
