Science Technician

Location: Esher
Start date: April 2026 or September 2026
Contract: Permanent
Working hours: 35 hours per week, term time only (Monday to Friday, 8:15am start). Part time or full time applications welcome.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a team of four technicians, including a Senior Technician.
• Collaborate with thirteen teaching staff across the Science department.
• Provide technical advice and support to students and teachers.
• Ensure the highest health and safety standards are adhered to.
• Support changing day to day requirements of the department.
• Work as an enthusiastic team player, committed to delivering the best support to both the teaching team and the students.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Enthusiasm for learning and a love of science.
• Good understanding of science.
• Good communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Friendly approach and calm manner.
• Qualifications and previous experience are desirable; full training and support will be provided to the right candidate.
