Posted 4 days 18 hours ago by Black Lives in Musi
Printed Music Licensing Limited (PMLL), a company owned by the Music Publishers Association (MPA), exists to operate collective licensing schemes on behalf of its members permitting educational establishments (and other users) to copy and arrange printed musical works for use in education and other music settings. Licence fees collected by PMLL are distributed on to its music publisher and print music publisher members.

PMLL is proposing to conduct this data collection and associated schools liaison activity during the terms of the 2025/26 school year. The roles would therefore be suitable for persons preferring to work on a term-time only basis, but the appointment of persons for a fixed term can also be considered.

- Demonstrate how reporting data can be submitted to PMLL via the online PMLL portal; and subsequently ensure that the information that has been obtained during the visit is put on the system.
- Ensure that the benefits of the SPML to the school are understood and if necessary, explain how the licence works answering any queries that the school may have.
- Maintain careful records of each visit including the names, roles and contact details of staff members with whom meetings take place.
