Working Pattern: 37 Hour Per Week, Monday to Friday, Term Time plus 5 days

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Science Department
• Prepare materials and resources for lessons
• Set up equipment for practical sessions
• Assist teaching staff with practical and examination work
• Prioritise workload and ensure that deadlines are met whilst working under pressure
• Maintain confidentiality at all times

Qualifications and experience

• Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths
• Relevant Health and Safety qualifications identified in the person specification
• Experience of working in a school is desirable
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with initiative and good organisational skills
