School Cover Supervisor

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Classroom Cover Supervisor to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in local secondary schools across the Preston area with a start immediately.

The Classroom Cover Supervisor will work within a school environment, supervising pupils across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), providing flexible support to cover short-term staff absence and delivering pre planned lessons. It is an opportunity for someone who wants to get into teaching or work within a school.

This flexible starting position can be ad hoc, short term or an ongoing long term position to suit your availability.

You do not need to hold a teaching qualification, but must demonstrate that you have previously worked with children in any role such as youth worker, sports coach, support worker, or voluntary positions.

Training can be provided to help develop behaviour management techniques to use in the classroom.

About the school

We work with a number of schools across the Preston area that require support within the classroom.

• Passion for working with children
• Great classroom management skills
• Experience working with young people in some capacity, e.g., coaching
• Ideally a degree, but this is not essential

• Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system (daily rate is subject to your scale rate, experience in role, and qualifications which will be discussed at the point of registration).
