School Cleaner Coventry (CV7)

Job Overview

School cleaner required Monday to Friday for a school in Coventry (CV7).

Your normal working pattern on the contract that you are allocated to will be 3pm until 6pm Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week for 39 term time weeks + 3 weeks of deep cleaning (42 week contract). £12.21 per hour.

Deep cleaning weeks will be organised by the area manager.

You will be required to work the 3 additional weeks to carry out a deep clean activity during the school holidays, which you will be advised by the Area Manager when this will take place.

Key Responsibilities

• Duties include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning corridors and toilets.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Work efficiently to cover assigned sites within scheduled hours.
• Cohesively collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Flexibility to adapt to different site requirements.
• Enhanced DBS (EDBS) is required. If you do not already hold one, you will need to provide the appropriate ID to complete one.
• Two references are required.
