Pinnacle Group is looking for a dedicated School Cleaner (including school holidays) to ensure that the internal school facilities are cleaned to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. You will be joining our Total FM Cleaning Team based at Castle Hill School in Newsome HD4
Our Total Facilities Management team delivers integrated asset management and maintenance services across education, leisure, corporate, health and residential sectors. We focus on keeping facilities running smoothly, safely, and efficiently - helping our clients create spaces that work for everyone.
Your role will involve general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste management to ensure that the internal school facilities are cleaned to the required standard as directed by the Facilities Assistant and/or Superintendent.
You will be working with a team of school cleaners for 12 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 3pm - 5.30pm term time, then you work your 12 hr between 8am - 4pm during the school holidays.

Key responsibilities will include:- Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, and replenish all consumable dispensers
- Cleaning classrooms; Damp-wipe tables, legs, chairs, desks and hard surfaces, including window sills and skirting boards
- Cleaning of internal glazing
- Vacuum all soft floors and carpets, including barrier matting
- To clean and sanitise touch points, door handles, push plates, and other surfaces.
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- To ensure you are adhering to the colour coding directives and are regularly changing mop heads, cloths, and other equipment.
- To ensure the correct collection, storage, and removal of waste/rubbish from the work area to the collection point.
- The ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of the use of cleaning chemicals, including COSHH.
- Cleaning experience in a school environment would be preferred; however, full training will be given.
- This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to meet the child safeguarding regulations, plus satisfactory references.
