Are you looking for a local role that fits perfectly around family life or other commitments? We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and thorough School Cleaner to help keep our learning environment sparkling and safe for our students.

The Details

• Hours: 12.5 hours per week (2.5 hours per day)
• Shift: Monday to Friday (e.g., 3:15 PM - 5:45 PM)
• Contract: Term Time Only (additional hours available during school holidays)
• Salary: £12.85 per hour (pay award is pending)
• Location: Witney Community Primary School

What You'll Be Doing

• Cleaning classrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste
• Sanitising high touch surfaces (desks, door handles, etc.)
• Ensuring restrooms are stocked and hygienic
• Mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to a high standard

What We're Looking For

• Reliability - You show up on time and take pride in your work
• Attention to detail - You don't miss a spot!
• Team spirit - You can work independently but are happy to be part of a friendly site team
• Experience - Previous cleaning experience is a plus, but full training will be provided

This role is due to start in early July, with 2 weeks worked in the school summer holiday for a 'deep clean' for which overtime will be paid.

Note: As this role is based in a school, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

This role includes regulated activity relevant to children.
