OverviewThe Governors and Head teacher of Grove Vale Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated person to join the premises team. You will be responsible for the cleaning of premises and furnishings, under the direction of the Site Manager/Business Manager. No prior experience is essential - full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities- Clean premises and furnishings under the direction of the Site Manager/Business Manager.
- Maintain good interpersonal skills, demonstrate trustworthiness, reliability and punctuality.
- Work during term time plus an additional three weeks and during some school holidays.
- Follow scheduled hours: 6:00 am - 8:30 am or 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Adhere to safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
- Good interpersonal skills and a trustworthy, reliable, punctual attitude.
- Fluency in spoken and written English (required under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016).
- Enhanced DBS check - exemption from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and eligibility for a Children's Barring List check.
- Must not be barred from working with children.
- Prior experience not required - training will be provided.
Term time plus three weeks contract. Position is 12.5 hours per week.
SalaryGrade A, SCP 3 (£24,796 p.a.). Actual salary £7,797 - £7,893 p.a.
