Berkeley Scott is seeking School Catering Assistants - Temp - Plymouth to support busy school catering teams across Plymouth. This temporary role involves serving meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and assisting with food preparation in primary and secondary schools. You should be reliable and comfortable working in educational settings. Shifts are term time, daytime only, offering flexibility.

Pay ranges from £12.71 to £13.45 per hour depending on site, plus holiday pay accrued. A current Enhanced DBS certificate is required, or you must be willing to obtain one. This position provides consistent weekly pay and varied placements across local academies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation
• Serving meals to students and staff
• Maintaining high levels of kitchen hygiene
• Cleaning and clearing kitchen and dining areas
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods

What we're looking for

• Previous catering or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)
• Experience in school or contract catering (desirable)
