School Catering Assistants - Temp - Bristol

School Catering Assistants - temporary - are needed in Bristol across primary, secondary and academy sites to support kitchen teams during term time. The role involves term time, daytime shifts with weekly pay and holiday pay accrued.

Responsibilities include food preparation, serving meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and basic cleaning duties. Candidates must hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation
• Serving meals to students and staff
• Maintaining high levels of kitchen hygiene
• Cleaning and clearing kitchen and dining areas
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods

What We're Looking For

• Previous catering or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)
• Experience in school or contract catering (desirable)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Professional, reliable, and organised approach
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude

Pay

£12.71 to £13.45 per hour, depending on experience and site.
