School Caretaker

Role: School Caretaker Location: Crosby, Sefton Start date: September 2026 Pay: £15.00 - £18.00 per hour (dependent on experience). Are you seeking an opportunity to work within a primary school environment? Do you have previous experience as a caretaker and wish to take on a new role within an educational setting?

We are seeking to appoint a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to support a Primary School site in Crosby, Sefton. The successful candidate will contribute to the effective day-to-day operation of the school premises, with responsibilities including facilities management, general maintenance, site security, and supporting the promotion of a safe and healthy working environment for staff, pupils and visitors.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a caretaker is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with external contractors, staff, parents and pupils.
• A valid DBS check registered on the update service.
• Two suitable references covering the previous two years.
