School Business Manager - Oakwood Avenue Primary School The role

The Governors of Oakwood Avenue Primary School are looking to recruit an experienced School Business Manager to cover a maternity leave period.

The successful candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team and be flexible to meet the operational needs of our school.

Key elements of the role are:

• Organise, maintain and monitor the schools financial and personnel systems
• Manage office functions to ensure an effective service to the school
• Oversee Health and Safety and premises management
• Line manage office staff, site staff, cleaners and middays

We are seeking an organised individual with a can do approach who will work in a solution focused way to the ever changing demands of a busy school office environment. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, as this role forms an integral part of the senior leadership team.
