Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at Halwin Primary School as the School Administrator (including Lunchtime Supervisor responsibilities).

Contract Type: Permanent Variable.

  • School Administrator - Pay scale: Band 4 FTE £28,142 / 39 working weeks (£21,262 per annum). Hours: 32.5 hrs per week / Monday - Friday - 08:00 - 13:00 / 13:30 - 16:00 pm (7.5 hours per day) including 1 hour lunch time supervisor role from 12:00 - 13:00.
  • Lunchtime Supervisor - Pay Scale; Band 1 FTE £24,413 / 38 working weeks (£2,765 per annum). Hours: 5 hours per week / Monday - Friday 12:00 - 13:00 (1 hour per day).

Halwin School is in the village of Porkellis, north east of Helston, in the heart of the old Wendron Mining District.

As a small rural school, we pride ourselves on our kind and caring atmosphere and our close partnership with parents and the local community. We make the most of our location and outdoor space for children to play, explore and learn. This role will include some pastoral support and involvement in all aspects of school life. You will be required to do lunch hall and playground supervision and support wrap around care when needed.
