Job Type: Temp-to-Perm

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Day rate: £14.50 - £15 (per hour)

School Administrator - Primary School

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Frodsham for an experienced School Administrator to join their busy office team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and professional administrator who has previous experience working within a school environment and is confident managing a variety of administrative duties in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing administrative support to the Headteacher and wider school team.
  • Managing pupil records and maintaining accurate data.
  • Using school management systems, including SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or equivalent.
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries from parents, staff and external agencies.
  • Managing attendance records and reporting.
  • Processing admissions and maintaining safeguarding documentation.
  • Supporting with school communications, newsletters and correspondence.
  • Assisting with finance administration, purchase orders and invoicing where required.
  • Reception duties, welcoming visitors and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.
Essential Requirements:

Previous school-based administration experience within a primary or secondary school.

Experience using SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or other school management systems.

Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
