About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, organised, and customer-focused Scheme Manager to oversee the Leasehold Scheme for the Elderly. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the scheme is well-managed, safe, and maintained to a high standard, while providing day-to-day support, guidance, and advocacy for residents.

You will act as the main point of contact for the residents, offering reassurance, delivering excellent customer service, and helping to uphold a warm, supportive community environment.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of older residents by ensuring their homes, wellbeing, and independence are at the heart of how the scheme operates.

The role is all about building management, compliance, and resident engagement, ensuring everything runs smoothly while creating a safe and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the Leasehold Scheme for the Elderly.
  • Be the first point of contact for residents, offering leasehold advice and general support.
  • Monitor the condition of the building and grounds, raise repairs, and ensure health & safety compliance (e.g. fire alarm testing).
  • Liaise with contractors and ensure high standards of service.
  • Keep accurate records, including emergency contacts and compliance checks.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in housing, support services, or working with older/vulnerable people.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of health & safety and safeguarding.
  • Ability to work independently and build trust with residents.
  • Enhanced DBS will be required, and occasional travel to Birmingham may be needed.

Why Join Them?

You will be supported by experienced colleagues, encouraged to develop professionally, and valued for the positive impact you bring to residents' lives every day.
