SC/DV Enterprise Architect

Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence sector, is seeking a skilled professional to help shape their clients' IT infrastructures and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects, particularly within the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) and Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) sectors.

As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a key role in aligning IT systems, processes, and strategies with client business goals, ensuring long-term success and supporting innovation across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse clients' business strategies and objectives, identifying opportunities where IT can drive success

• Evaluate existing IT infrastructures, identifying gaps and recommending improvements

• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture models covering business processes, data flows, and technology landscapes

• Define IT strategies and roadmaps that support long-term business objectives

• Provide governance and oversight for IT projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture

• Stay informed on emerging technologies, assessing their potential and recommending adoption strategies

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, business units, and IT teams

• Manage IT-related risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards

• Continuously enhance IT architectures to adapt to evolving business needs

Skills & Experience Required

• Extensive experience working with Defence or Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) IT systems

• Proven track record as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software, and network systems

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable Qualifications & Certifications

• TOGAF 9

• Unified Architecture Framework

• Open Group Certified Architect (Open CA)

• ArchiMate Certified Expert

• IT4IT Foundation

• Certified Solution Architect (AWS or Azure)
