Job Description:

Role Summary
The AI Platform & Tooling Engineer develops, evaluates and optimises the platforms, tools and technical foundations required to accelerate AI delivery.
The role enables rapid experimentation while ensuring scalability, security, resilience and cost-effective adoption of AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement AI development and experimentation environments.
Evaluate emerging AI tooling, frameworks and technology platforms.
Build integration services, APIs and orchestration capabilities.
Support deployment, monitoring and operational readiness activities.
Assess tooling costs, licensing impacts and infrastructure requirements.
Develop reusable accelerators, technical assets and reference implementations.
Implement security controls, monitoring and operational guardrails.
Support continuous improvement and optimisation of AI platforms.
Provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams.

Required Technical Competencies
Software engineering and cloud infrastructure expertise.
Experience with AI platforms AWS Bedrock and Microsoft Foundry, APIs and orchestration frameworks.
Knowledge of Azure AI services and cloud-native architectures.
DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
Cost optimisation and cloud consumption management.
Security, monitoring and operational support principles.
Integration and automation technologies.
