The Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to take on the new role of Saturday Operations Lead at CYM. This hands-on position is key to ensuring the smooth and safe running of the centre each Saturday. You will lead the Saturday support team and coordinate operational and pastoral matters on the day, helping to ensure a positive and efficient experience for all students, staff and families.

About Centre for Young Musicians

The Centre for Young Musicians (CYM) offers music provision to talented young people from all backgrounds in a thriving musical environment. As a Centre for Advanced Training under the Department for Education's National Grant for Music and Dance, CYM is a key provider of instrumental, vocal and ensemble tuition in London. Our Saturday school and holiday courses offer a sustained and progressive route from the early stages of learning through to music college entrance. Children start on our Primary Years Programme (age 5 upwards) progressing to the Full Programme (aged 8 to 18)

Contract: Self-employed, from September 2025 to July 2026

Freelance rate: £216 per Saturday (to include handover)

Location: Morley College (London Waterloo) and other linked venues

Working Hours: Saturdays, 8.00am to 5.00pm, 10 Saturdays per term.
