Job Description

Resulting IT is the UK's best loved SAP Consultancy with a spine-tingling 93% Net Promoter Score. We're 100% independent and we don't sell SAP licences. Our only motivation is to get the best outcomes for our clients.

But what's in it for you?

  • We're one of the UK's fastest growing tech companies (6 times Northern Tech Awards winners), expanding to the USA and have a client list to die for
  • We're a completely sustainable, climate-positive organisation.
  • We have fantastic benefits packages including healthcare, vision and dental cover.

With offices in the Northwest (Warrington) and London we're growing fast, both in the UK and the US, and looking for people who want to be part of our journey.

Mission statement

We're looking for an experienced SAP WAM (Work and Asset Management) Architect to strengthen our internal capability and support several ongoing SAP roadmap and Phase Zero engagements. You'll be instrumental in helping our clients prepare for their journey to S/4HANA, guiding them through SAP's evolving EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) and WFM (Workforce Management) landscapes.

You will:

  • Possess deep experience in SAP EAM and WFM within SAP ECC and a strong understanding of the S/4HANA roadmap.
  • Have completed at least two Full Cycle S/4HANA programmes.
  • Bring proven EAM and WFM experience within the Energy or Utilities sectors - this is essential.
  • Be capable of advising clients on SAP's roadmap for EAM/WFM in S/4HANA Utilities.
  • Have a credible background as an Architect or Managing Consultant, ideally with 10+ years' industry experience.
  • Have experience managing client relationships and leading complex engagements.

This role is about thought leadership, influence, and education. You'll help clients understand SAP's future direction, prepare their teams for transition, and enhance Resulting's internal capability in the EAM and WFM domains.

The role

In essence, the SAP WAM Architect acts as both strategist and translator - shaping enterprise-level SAP solutions that transform asset and workforce management functions within large-scale organisations.

You'll lead the design of comprehensive SAP EAM and WFM architectures, ensuring they align with business strategy and deliver measurable operational value. Working across multiple client engagements, you'll bring clarity, structure, and confidence to complex technology and business landscapes.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with client stakeholders to understand current EAM/WFM processes and define the future-state design.
  • Lead design workshops and Phase Zero assessments to shape S/4HANA roadmaps.
  • Define and document solution architectures that integrate seamlessly across SAP and non-SAP components.
  • Advise and influence clients on SAP's product roadmap, best practices, and transition strategies.
  • Oversee solution delivery to ensure alignment with architectural principles and business goals.
  • Support business development and proposal creation for new SAP opportunities.
  • Mentor consultants and support internal capability building in WAM/EAM/WFM areas.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders across client organisations.
A bit about you

You're an experienced SAP Architect with a rare mix of technical depth, business acumen, and communication finesse. You listen actively, empathise deeply, and translate complexity into clarity.

  • You've led architectural design and advisory engagements in EAM or Utilities programmes.
  • You're comfortable operating at C-level, shaping strategy and roadmaps.
  • You can articulate complex SAP topics in a simple, compelling way - both in person and on paper.
  • You enjoy mentoring others and creating high-quality deliverables that stand out for their clarity and insight.
  • You thrive in fast-moving environments and relish the opportunity to influence big decisions.
Resulting traits

We pride ourselves on hiring the best people - but best doesn't have to mean a big 4 background and an Ivy League education.

You can't roll up your sleeves when you're wearing cufflinks - and Resulting people get stuck in. They're positive, adaptable, and always deliver to a high standard.

Positivity is about being optimistic. It applies to you and the people you work with- be that a colleague, customer or partner. But positive also means being certain in your views and enthusiastic about driving success.

Adaptability means being able to change shape to deal with different circumstances. Often new and different approaches may be better, even if they're unfamiliar.

High standards demand clear, original thought. Our customers pay us massive sums - Lamborghini money - for the work we do. It should be worth every penny.

Resulting Ltd is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive work environment that encourages diversity. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and discrimination in all our operations, including our focused SAP projects.
