SAP TAX Specialist (Indirect and Direct) - Hungary

For a client with a SAP Finance hub in Budapest, I am searching for a senior SAP Tax Specialist with strong EMEA indirect and direct tax knowledge (preferably candidates from Hungary with Turkish tax determination knowledge).

You will review the current tax setup in SAP, identify incorrect tax calculations, and fix the underlying tax determination logic. This includes adjusting country specific tax codes, defining when VAT should or should not apply, managing exceptions, handling import and export scenarios (SAP GTS is not used), and ensuring correct direct and indirect tax rules across EMEA.
