SAP SRM/SCM Lead

RTPO SCM/SRM OEX - SAP Wave/Squad Leader
Location: Hungary (Budapest - hybrid, 2 days onsite initially)
Contract: 6-12 months + extensions

We are currently seeking an experienced RTPO SCM/SRM OEX - SAP Wave/Squad Leader to support a large-scale SAP transformation programme. This role will be responsible for coordinating delivery across multiple squads, ensuring alignment and timely execution across the programme.

The successful candidate will bring strong SAP programme coordination experience, particularly within Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate SAP wave execution across multiple squads

• Align squad leaders across key programme activities including Data Migration, FIT2T, Testing, and Cutover

• Manage programme planning, resources, budgets, and delivery risks

• Track and report wave and squad progress across SAP workstreams

• Coordinate with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and functional leads

• Ensure adoption of programme templates, standards, and governance

• Escalate delivery issues and risks where necessary

• Apply and improve SAP deployment and transformation methodologies

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience leading SAP programme waves or release cycles

• Proven background in SAP SCM/SRM environments

• Experience coordinating multiple functional SAP squads or workstreams

• Strong understanding of SAP implementation life cycle (FIT2T, testing, cutover, deployment)

• Experience working within large-scale SAP transformation or S/4HANA programmes

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Strong planning, risk management, and delivery coordination abilities
