Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP RE-FX (Flexible Real Estate Management) specialist to join our S/4HANA transformation program. The role focuses on streamlining real estate and lease management processes, improving integration with Finance and Controlling, and supporting compliance with international accounting standards.

This position requires a professional with over ten years of functional experience who can help design, implement, and enhance RE-FX capabilities while maintaining alignment with S/4HANA clean-core and standard-adoption practices.

Main Responsibilities

• Configure, enhance, and support RE-FX functionalities within S/4HANA.

• Participate in Fit-to-Standard and design workshops, covering areas such as lease and rental contract management, property valuation, and accounting under IFRS 16/ASC 842.

• Ensure seamless integration of RE-FX with FI, CO, and Asset Accounting (FI-AA) modules.

• Support the migration and setup of real estate contracts, including master data governance, posting logic, and valuation flows.

• Perform reconciliation and validation of postings to the Universal Journal (ACDOCA).

• Contribute to test planning and execution (FIT, UAT), track and resolve issues with technical counterparts.

• Promote standard SAP functionality, minimizing custom developments and preserving a clean-core system design.

• Prepare functional documentation and assist in user training and knowledge transfer activities.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on SAP RE-FX consulting experience.

• Proven track record in lease and contract life cycle management, property administration, and lease accounting.

• Strong understanding of RE-FX integration with Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), and Asset Accounting (FI-AA) in S/4HANA.

• Practical knowledge of IFRS 16/ASC 842 valuation logic and corresponding accounting flows.

• Familiarity with RE-FX master data (properties, buildings, land, rental units, business partners).

• Experience working within the SAP Activate or Fit-to-Standard implementation framework.

Desirable Qualifications

• Exposure to data migration and valuation simulation for RE-FX contracts in S/4HANA.

• Experience with SAP Fiori applications for contract and valuation management.

• Understanding of RE-FX integration with Investment Management (IM) or Project Systems (PS-AA).

• Awareness of Central Finance or Group Reporting interactions impacting RE-FX postings.
