SAP S/4HANA Materials Management Consultant - English Speaking - Hamburg, Germany. Start: 20th April 2026. 6 Month Contract Job.

Our client based in Hamburg, Germany has launched a Greenfield S/4HANA project, and the Explore phase (General Design) is currently ongoing.

To strengthen their team and secure the success of this initiative they are seeking an SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant to assist them with:

  • Fit-to-Standard workshop results
  • Business Process Design (SAP Signavio)
  • Sandbox system customization dossier by functional stream
  • Updated architecture dossier
  • System backlog initialized and prioritized (Gaps, RICEWF)
  • Documented migration plan (scope, tools, specifications)
  • List of RICEFW with justification (based on workshop outputs)
  • Test Strategy & Test Plan definition initiated
  • Background jobs list initiated
  • Draft transition plan
  • Role & Authorization dossier initiated based on Fit-to-Standard workshop outputs

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Must be a senior level consultant who can lead workshops
  • Must have several years of SAP MM experience
  • Must be able to handle the preparation and facilitation of SAP Activate Fit-to-Standard workshops, and management of delta requirements analysis resulting from workshops (Solution Fit/Gap)
  • Must have S/4HANA experience

Nice to have but not mandatory:

  • Knowledge of SAP Signavio is nice to have
  • Knowledge of SAP CALM is nice to have

Languages:

  • Must be fluent in English

Remote Work:

  • At the beginning of the project, you will be required to be onsite the majority of the time. This is important as you will be leading many workshops.
  • Later in the project, you will then be able to work remotely

Work Load:

  • Full-time 5 days per week Monday - Friday
  • 8 hours per day
  • Work hours: 08:00 - 18:00 CET
  • The contract will be an initial 6 month contract with multiple extensions.
