SAP S/4HANA Data Migration/Validation Consultant - CVI & Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration/Validation Consultant to support a major brownfield SAP S/4HANA transformation programme for a large European organisation.

This is a 12-month freelance contract requiring weekly travel to the client's European office approximately 2-3 days per week. Travel expenses will be covered.

The successful consultant will support the migration and validation of data from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, with particular responsibility for Customer/Vendor Integration (CVI) and Business Partner data.

Working alongside the wider S/4HANA programme and functional teams, you will help ensure that migrated master data is complete, accurate and correctly transformed within the new S/4HANA environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support data validation activities throughout the ECC to S/4HANA conversion
• Validate Customer and Vendor master data migrated to the S/4HANA Business Partner model
• Support CVI (Customer/Vendor Integration) configuration, mapping and validation activities
• Perform source-to-target reconciliation and identify data inconsistencies or migration issues
• Analyse failed conversions, mapping errors, duplicates and data-quality issues
• Work with functional and technical teams to coordinate data cleansing and remediation
• Define and execute data validation and reconciliation checks
• Support mock conversions, migration cycles, testing and cutover activities
• Ensure migrated Business Partner data meets agreed business and technical requirements
• Work closely with programme stakeholders to investigate and resolve data-related issues

Skills & Experience

• Strong SAP data migration, data validation or data conversion experience
• Previous involvement in SAP ECC to S/4HANA brownfield conversion programmes
• Strong hands-on knowledge of CVI (Customer/Vendor Integration)
• Excellent understanding of the SAP S/4HANA Business Partner model
• Experience validating Customer and Vendor master data during S/4HANA transformations
• Strong data reconciliation, analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Experience supporting migration testing, mock conversions and cutover activities
• Ability to work effectively across SAP functional, technical and business teams
• Previous experience on large-scale international SAP transformation programmes
