SAP S/4HANA CFIN (Central Finance) Consultant - French Speaking. Location: Paris, France. Flexible Start Date from 20th April 2026 Onwards. 12 Month Contract Mission.

Our client based in Paris, France, is seeking an experienced SAP Central Finance (CFIN) Consultant to join their team and provide expert-level support, maintenance, and continuous improvement for their Central Finance landscape. The ideal candidate will have a strong functional understanding of SAP FI/CO, hands-on experience with CFIN replication processes, and the ability to troubleshoot, analyse and enhance existing solutions.

This role is heavily focused on operational stability, incident resolution, and driving corrective evolutions to ensure the SAP CFIN platform remains robust, scalable and aligned with business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support & Maintenance:

• Provide day-to-day Level 2/3 support for SAP Central Finance and related FI/CO processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SLT replication, AIF errors, mapping issues, and document posting failures.
• Analyse root causes of incidents and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Ensure system stability across source systems, SLT, and the SAP CFIN target system.
• Manage and resolve service tickets within agreed SLAs.

Corrective Evolutions & Enhancements

• Work with business stakeholders to understand new requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Deliver enhancements, configuration changes, and continuous improvements to optimise SAP CFIN processes.
• Support change requests, regression testing, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement functional and technical improvements.
• Contribute to roadmap planning for future SAP CFIN capabilities and integrations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Finance, Controlling, and IT teams to ensure alignment between business processes and system functionality.
• Liaise with SAP, third-party vendors, and internal teams to resolve complex issues.
• Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to junior team members or support teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP FI/CO, with at least 1 SAP Central Finance (CFIN) project.
• Strong understanding of:
  • CFIN architecture and data flow
  • SLT replication
  • AIF monitoring and error handling
  • Source-to-target mapping and document posting logic
• Experience supporting production environments and resolving complex functional issues.
• Ability to analyse logs, identify root causes, and propose corrective evolutions.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

LANGUAGES:

• Must be fluent in French (minimum C1 level)

WORK LOAD:

• Full-time mission, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
• Core business hours of 08:00 - 18:00 CET
• This role will require an onsite presence in the Paris office. Remote work is negotiable and open for discussion.
• 12 month contract (possibility of extension)
